About

Hi, I’m Kenneth — software engineer, chronic desk optimizer, and the person who has spent an embarrassing amount of time testing keyboards, chairs, and monitor setups so you don’t have to.

I’ve been building and iterating on my own home office for over a decade. What started as “I just need a decent chair” turned into a full-blown obsession with ergonomics, cable management, and finding the gear that actually makes a difference — versus the stuff that just looks good in a photo.

FiendishFinds exists because most product review sites suck. They regurgitate spec sheets from Amazon listings, slap affiliate links on everything, and call it a guide. I got tired of it.

What I Actually Do Differently

  • I buy or borrow the gear before writing about it
  • I test over real weeks of use, not a 20-minute unboxing
  • I tell you when something isn’t worth it — even if it means fewer clicks
  • I update articles when products get discontinued or better options appear

My day job is software engineering, which means I spend 8+ hours a day at a desk. I’ve built dual-monitor setups, standing desk rigs, and everything in between. My recommendations come from someone who actually lives in these workspaces — not someone writing from a coffee shop who has never assembled a standing desk at 11pm.

What FiendishFinds Covers

Desk setups, ergonomic chairs and peripherals, monitors, audio gear, and the accessories that genuinely improve how you work from home. Every recommendation is based on real use, honestly evaluated, and prioritized by value-per-dollar over flashy specs.
